Boone County extends stay-at-home order, easing non-essential business restrictions

It’s an extended stay-at-home order in Boone County, but one that will relax earlier restrictions.

County health officials said Thursday the revised order will begin at 8 a.m. Friday and last through Sunday, May 3, aligning with the statewide order’s timeline.

Retail businesses that were previously considered non-essential will be able to open and offer delivery or curbside pick-up under the new order. Restaurants can still offer take-out or delivery, but cannot have dine-in services yet.

  1. I really think that state of mo should still be order to stay at home there is still people out there that are sick i really dont want my family and friends out there to catch this deadly virus i sure dont want it i really dont want my grandkids getting it if they do well everyone should start reading their bibles

  2. While c19 is bad, we can’t change our lives for another threat to us. It’s harsh but if you wish to stay in, do it. But don’t impose your fear on others. If you are that afraid of dying you should not drive, cook, or even walk. Life must and will go on so get out and enjoy it.
