Firefighters save a furry friend that had fallen through the ice on a pond.
Boone County authorities say a Labradoodle fell in the water of the pond off Route HH near Fulton 75 feet from shore on Tuesday morning. Two firefighters got the dog back on the ice shelf, and then pulled it to safety.
Its owner, who is a veterinarian, says Maggie is doing fine now.
