Boone County holds public hearings on proposed wind farm regulations

Boone County holds its first public hearing on proposed wind farm regulations Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the commission chambers in downtown Columbia.

A German company proposed a wind farm in the Harrisburg area in 2019, but has not moved forward with those plans since. No one has submitted a wind farm application to Boone County yet.
