An SUV hits a Boone County pedestrian.
The Highway Patrol says Joanna Roe was walking on Highway 40 near Cunningham Drive and the Midway exit at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday when the SUV hit her.
Roe, 55, has serious injuries. She has criminal charges too. Troopers say the Columbia woman had meth, drug paraphernalia, and a small amount of marijuana on her when the accident happened.
