Boone County reports 100th coronavirus positive; active cases stay low

Boone County hits triple digits.

Health officials reported the 100th confirmed coronavirus case on Sunday yesterday (sun). Only five cases are active though.

Cole and Callaway counties only have three active cases each as of early Monday. Moniteau County is down to two active cases, and ended stay-at-home orders on Monday. Hard-hit Saline County had no new positives on Sunday.

The state has 9,918 positives as of Monday, and 488 deaths from COVID-19. More than half of those are in the St. Louis area.

  1. Time to replace our local leaders. They have destroyed our economy and more importantly trampled on our rights. Why stop there, let’s replace the governor.
