Boone County reports four more COVID-19 deaths.
Health officials said Tuesday all of the patients were older than 65. Boone has confirmed 50 total deaths from the illness, with 23 of those happening in December.
There were 102 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday in Boone County, but active cases went down to 824. Hospitalizations went up, to 144.
Cole County had a small increase in new cases yesterday, just 20.
