Boone County reports third COVID-19 death

A third person has died from COVID-19 in Boone County. Officials said Monday it involved someone in his or her late 40’s.

Boone County reported nine more coronavirus cases Monday, much smaller than the record set this weekend.

Cole County only reported two new cases Monday after setting its record Sunday with 15 new cases.

Over the weekend Saline County added 18 new positives, Audrain County added 10 and Moniteau County added three. There were no new cases in Callaway County.

The state dropped well below its record daily numbers from last week, but still added 447 positives Monday. Fourteen more Missourians have died from COVID-19, for a total of 1,083.
