A Harrisburg motorist suffers serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Route B in Boone County.

Wednesday afternoon’s crash happened at about 3:50 on Route B, north of Akeman Bridge road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report says 40-year-old Stephanie Hall of Harrisburg was driving too fast for conditions when her vehicle traveled off the side of the road and went down an embankment.

Troopers say Hall’s Ford Focus then struck several trees. Hall, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Boone County EMS to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

Troopers say a two-year-old female passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
