Boone County’s new Joint Communications director has 17 years of experience and training

Boone County’s new director of Joint Communications begins her new job on Monday morning.

Boone County commissioners have announced that Christie Davis has been appointed to the position. She’s been serving as the executive director of the Sumner County Emergency Communications Center in Sumner County, Tennessee. Boone County commissioners note Davis has 17 years of experience in police, fire and medical emergency communications, management and training. Davis earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama.

Boone County presiding commissioner Kip Kendrick praises Davis, saying she’ll be joining a wonderful team of dedicated public servants at Boone County Joint Communications.
