Boone Hospital’s new CEO comes from an area hit hard by COVID-19.
Troy Greer was CEO of a hospital system in New Mexico. He says a big difference in pandemic response now is that the coronavirus is not a surprise anymore.
“We’re actually transitioning it from being something that was new and extremely disruptive to now incorporating it into kind of our normal way of doing business,” Greer said on CEO Roundtable.
Greer will lead Boone Hospital’s transition to independence next year, ending a 30-year relationship with BJC Healthcare.
