Missouri state troopers and Boonville Police are searching for the suspects involved in Wednesday’s daytime robbery at Boonville’s Isle of Capri casino.
Boonville Police are describing the robbery as an “incident” in their Facebook post, adding that the Missouri State Highway Patrol is the lead agency investigating the incident.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Department has deleted a social media post that said the vehicle used by the suspects was found abandoned on Howard County road 344. Missouri State Highway Patrol Lieutenant Eric Brown tells our news partner ABC-17 that one of the suspects had a long gun and that the other had a handgun. Lt. Brown says the suspects escaped in a Ford Taurus before abandoning it and getting into another vehicle.

Anyone with information on Wednesday’s robbery at Isle of Capri should contact Missouri state troopers or the Highway Patrol.
