State Sen. Jason Bean (R-Peach Orchard) was elected by Senate Republicans on Thursday in Jefferson City. Senator Bean has been serving as Missouri Senate Agriculture Committee chairman.

He’ll replace State Sen. Cindy O’Laughlin (R-Shelbina), who is term-limited. Senator Bean says his priority will be to make sure we spend our time, energy, money and resources on the issues that matter most to Missourians.

Senator Bean joined hosts Randy Tobler and Jennifer Bukowsky live on 939 the Eagle’s “Wake Up Missouri.” You can hear the interview here.
