Boone County firefighters say five vehicles sustained damage in that fire this morning at A1 Recycling on Route WW, just east of Columbia.
Boone County Fire Protection District assistant chief Gale Blomenkamp tells the Eagle that there are no injuries. Firefighters arrived on the scene quickly. The fire began at about 7 am.
A1 Recycling is located near Highway 63, and several 939 the Eagle listeners saw the smoke as far away as Ashland.
