Brief lockdown lifted at Grant Elementary as police investigate shots fired

A possible shots fired in Central Columbia puts a nearby school on lockdown.

ABC 17 reports Grant Elementary lifted the lockdown around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

CPD got multiple shots fired calls from the 200 block of W. Broadway.

According to police, no one was shot, but one woman did receive injuries. She refused medical treatment at the scene.

Officers are actively investigating with K9 units. No info on suspects yet.

CPD says the public has no reason to be concerned at this point.
