Broadway Brewery owner jailed, charged with domestic assault

An owner of the Broadway Brewery in Columbia, Walker Claridge, was being held without bond Monday afternoon in the Callaway County jail on domestic assault charges. Police were called to a residence west of Auxvasse early Monday morning. The victim said Claridge has been her boyfriend for three years. She wasn’t named in court documents. Police say she had several injuries to her face, neck and shoulder. The 49-year-old Claridge, who lives in Columbia, was charged with two felonies. A judge denied bond.
