Broadway Brewery to re-open following death of owner’s son

Broadway Brewery in Columbia will be back open Thursday following several days of closure.

The popular restaurant posted on its Facebook page that the owner’s son, Lushen Claridge, tragically died in a car accident over the weekend. The post said Lushen “was one of the brightest young stars in our kitchen staff and loved by all.”

The restaurant had been closed since Saturday, but should re-open Thursday at 4 p.m.
