Burks named to state labor job

Boone County’s former clerk has a new job.

Taylor Burks will work as the state’s division of labor standards director, starting on Jan. 14. He will help make sure employers are following Missouri labor laws.

Burks was appointed Boone County Clerk in the summer of 2017. He lost his election bid last November to Brianna Lennon.
