California man sentenced for role in mid-Missouri meth ring

Shadeed Muhammad from the state of California will spend more than 11 years in federal prison, for his role in a mid-Missouri meth ring.

A judge announced the sentence of 11 years and three months on Monday.

Muhammad pleaded guilty last year to mailing packages with more than 800 grams of meth each to people in Columbia and Jefferson City from 2016 to 2017.

James Larkins of Columbia, and Javiar Rossar, Bria Lanier-Richie, and Robert McNair of Jefferson City have all pleaded guilty to their roles in the meth ring.
