California State University system plans virtual fall semester

The California State University system announced on Tuesday it is going to almost all virtual classes for the fall semester because of COVID-19 concerns.

That system includes Mountain West Conference schools Fresno State, San Diego State, and San Jose State.

The NCAA has said campus needs to be open in the fall for football at that school to happen. But NCAA President Mark Emmert told ESPN on Tuesday the association won’t require a uniform return to college sports. So, some parts of the country may kick off on different dates.
