How are the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases affecting Jefferson City hospitals?
Capital Region Medical Center’s Gaspare Calvaruso says it’s keeping his crew busy.
“We saw cases in our mobile testing unit go from around 40 or 50 a day to around 150 a day, and within our hospitals, probably around five to six patients to around eight to ten patients,” said Calvaruso.
Calvaruso adds that while Capital Region is seeing more admissions because of the virus, the 100-bed hospital still has plenty of rooms available.
