You’ll notice Columbia fire trucks, Columbia firefighters, hoses and emergency vehicles Thursday morning and afternoon at downtown Columbia’s largest parking garage.
The Columbia Fire Department (CFD) will be conducting training exercises at the nine-story Fifth and Walnut garage at 8 this morning, and again at 1 and 3 pm. CFD says the exercises are part of their efforts to ensure personnel are familiar with multi-story structures and are prepared to respond quickly in real emergency situations.
