Parson orders all state workers to return to offices by May 17

Governor Parson on Wednesday directed any state employees still working remotely to return to in-person work by May 17. All state buildings need to be open to the public by then too during normal business hours.

Harrisburg is home to a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic. Health officials were scheduled to distribute the Pfizer shot at the Lion’s Club from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The vaccine clinic at Capital Mall in Jefferson City shifts from four days a week, to two days a week, starting May 24. The Cole County Health Dept. says that is because of low demand.

Boone County only added 12 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, and active cases went up slightly, to 59. Hospitalizations held steady, at 15, and are well below capacity. Cole County did not add any new positives Wednesday.
