A Columbia woman is jailed without bond this morning, charged with shooting a man Monday night near Douglass Park.
Boone County prosecutors have charged 40-year-old Jemikia Jordan with first degree assault and armed criminal action. Jordan’s initial arraignment date hasn’t been set yet.
Columbia Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting, which happened in the 400 block of North Providence Road.
