The feds have charged a Chicago man connected to that bomb scare in Holts Summit.
Jerry Lee Banks has another hearing in Jefferson City federal court on Thursday.
The FBI says Banks stole a car from Chicago, and was pulled over on Highway 54 at Simon Boulevard last Friday. Investigators say the found drugs, chemicals, and notes that mentioned an explosion. Banks claimed he was doing scientific research.
Banks, 45, is only charged with taking a stolen vehicle across state lines right now.
