Child abducted by her mother found in North Carolina

A missing Boone County child has been found and her mother arrested.

ABC 17 News reports federal authorities charged Jillane Pegano last year after she made off with her daughter.

The child’s father,William Tyler Bozeman, was granted custody of her in 2016, but admitted he hadn’t seen her or Pagano since 2013.

The mother and child were found in North Carolina, and the girl was turned over to the Cherokee County Department of Social Services on Wednesday.
