A Columbia man is in fair condition at the University Hospital after being pinned in his car thanks to a City of Columbia bus. That accident took place near the roundabout at Highway 63 and Bearfield Road last evening (Friday). Police say the bus driver, 37 year old Rhonda Banks of Columbia lost control of the city vehicle and drove over a concrete island. That’s when the bus ran into a car driven by 23 year old James Clarkson, also of Columbia. The rescue efforts took over 45 minutes. The 14 passengers on the bus were not injured.
