Cole County Health moves in to new building

Cole County’s health department is now based in its new headquarters.

The operation moved into the remodeled former Community Health building on West Truman. The move adds over 10,000 square feet to the size of the old facility on Industrial Drive.

The county bought the building for $1.5 million. That figure is before extensive renovations were done at the site.
