There has been another death from COVID-19 in mid-Missouri.
Cole County officials reported the first death in the county Friday. It is not included in the state’s reported number of 19 deaths so far.
Statewide confirmed cases of the virus jumped nearly another 300 cases to 2,113 on Friday.
Cole County has 27 cases with nine recoveries. There are now 74 reported positives in Boone County, including 30 recoveries and one death. There are still 18 confirmed cases in Callaway County with six recovered. Randolph County has six cases, four from the same family.
