Cole County standoff ends peacefully

The Cole County Sheriff says an overnight standoff with a barricaded person has ended peacefully.

It was on Westport Drive near Country Club Drive in Jefferson City.

Authorities found a gun in the home after they went inside. That person is now getting a mental health evaluation.
