Will you have a choice of which COVID-19 vaccine to get?
Cole County Health Director Kristi Campbell says the Pfizer vaccine is being reserved for health care providers and people in nursing homes for now.
“We don’t know who all is going to be able to have that vaccine but we know that we will have the Moderna vaccine here, and we know that local hospitals and health care providers will have it.”
Campbell says if you’re worried about having an allergic reaction to the vaccine, you should talk to your doctor.
Mid-Missouri health care workers started getting the vaccine last week. Most people will have to wait a few months to get their shots.
