Columbia-based Break Time says their Jefferson City Truman Boulevard convenience store location has now reopened and is back in business.

They also say they’ve determined that if you purchased unleaded gasoline at the Break Time in Tipton, the fuel is fine. It’s the same for the Sedalia truck stop and Sedalia Broadway locations.

However, Break Time is alerting customers that if you purchased fuel at the California location or the other three Break Time stores in Jefferson City, you should pay attention to your vehicle. In a Facebook post, Break Time says if your vehicle is experiencing issues, you should call Break Time at 1-800-876-6357. Break Time’s Facebook post says the problem involves fuel delivery with their primary carrier, Midland.

Break Time apologizes for any inconvenience to customers. They aren’t being specific about what happened.

A 939 the Eagle listener posted on our Facebook page that someone put diesel in the unleaded tank.
