The Better Business Bureau is sending you a warning about a Columbia-based contractor who is apparently not living up to his promises.
The BBB says a Columbia woman hired Mo State Construction LLC to do work at her home last August. She says owner Blake Mahoney did little work, and bailed after he got the second part of his $8,000 bill. Customers have reported similar complaints about Mo State Construction elsewhere in the state.
