The Columbia City Council welcomes its new member Monday night.
Pat Fowler will be sworn in to represent the central city’s First Ward. She will replace the Rev. Clyde Ruffin, who did not seek re-election.
Councilman Matt Pitzer gets sworn in to another three-year term on Monday night too. He ran unopposed in the Fifth Ward.
