Another COVID-19 update is on the agenda for the Columbia City Council on Tuesday night.
Members will vote to authorize Health Director Stephanie Browning to extend the current health order longer than three weeks if she decides that is the right move. That order is in effect until at least Sept. 17. The council’s next meeting is not until Sept. 21, so it would have to hold a special meeting if it does not ratify it on Tuesday.
Boone County bars and restaurants have to stop serving alcohol at 9 p.m., and close at 10 p.m., under the current health order.
