The Columbia City Council agreed Monday to a severance with former city manager Mike Matthes.
He will get $179,000 on his way out the door. That’s about what he made in a year, plus leftover vacation days.
Deputy city manager John Glascock (pictured) takes over the job on an interim basis.
Matthes announced his resignation a week ago. It took effect last Wednesday.
