Columbia council discussing Rain Forest Parkway traffic calming

Some talk about changes to roads for the Columbia City Council is on Monday night’s agenda.

Members are holding a public hearing about adding two speed tables and a speed hump on Rain Forest Parkway on the north side of town between Rangeline and Providence.

They will probably set a public hearing for Mar. 4 about proposed changes to Route H near the airport. Officials want to shift that road to the northeast, to make room for a big expansion to the main airport runway.
