Columbia council looks at medical marijuana regulations

The Columbia City Council on Monday night starts looking at some changes to its codes so it can get ready for medical marijuana facilities.

Voters legalized medical marijuana statewide in November 2018. But cities have some room within the amendment to decide the time, place, and manner of operations for the industry.

Proposed regulations include a 250-foot buffer between medical marijuana dispensaries and churches, day care centers, and schools.

  2. I have a Melman’s Neuroma on top of multiple mental problems and it has worked wonders for everything, even my ADD to my motivation to work out. I understand the officials make more money off of opioids and the higher death rates associated with it but the sooner they make it available then the sooner people can stop dying and even get better from what ails them.
