Columbia council takes another crack at short-term rental regulations

The Columbia City Council on Monday night takes another crack at regulations on short-term rentals like Airbnb.

City officials have been trying to sort this out for about two years.

Councilman Matt Pitzer says it’s a balance between people who just occasionally rent out their place, and those who are basically trying to open a hotel in a residential neighborhood.
