Missouri’s Probation and Parole Board is expected to revoke the parole of a convicted Columbia felon who allegedly kidnapped a woman on Tuesday before leading Boone County Sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed pursuit involving speeds of more than 110 miles per hour.

A Boone County judge has ordered 32-year-old Alec Miles McCabe to remain jailed without bond. Boone County prosecutors have charged McCabe with four new felonies for Tuesday’s alleged incidents: second degree kidnapping, second degree robbery, felony domestic assault and resisting arrest. Our news partner KMIZ reports the victim who was allegedly kidnapped also had her wallet, birth certificate and $3,000 in cash stolen.

Tuesday night’s high-speed pursuit ended with McCabe, who was allegedly driving without headlights and without a valid license, crashing his vehicle and overturning after failing to stop for numerous stop signs.

939 the Eagle News has reviewed the lengthy criminal history of McCabe, who’s served several stints in state prison, including time in the maximum-security Jefferson City Correctional Center (JCCC). He appears to have been paroled from prison the last time in 2021.
