It’s a guilty plea over a marijuana conspiracy tied to a Columbia coffee shop.
Nader Yanis, 24, admitted to his role in a conspiracy to deal the drug on Tuesday in federal court. He’s the son of Osama Yanis, the owner of Coffee Zone downtown.
Federal prosecutors say they got a warrant for the Osama Yanis home last February. They found more than a hundred pounds of high-grade marijuana, and $90,000 in cash.
Osama Yanis, 49, pleaded guilty last month.
