Authorities catch a Columbia man who drove away from cops in both Columbia and Fulton.
ABC 17 reports Derrick Burnett Jr. allegedly sped away from a traffic stop in Columbia Thursday afternoon. Authorities say he got all the way to Fulton, then led Highway Patrol troopers along Highway 54 to Kingdom City. Callaway County deputies then chased him on I-70, until he crashed near the Lake of the Woods exit in Columbia.
Burnett is being held in the Callaway County jail for felony resisting arrest. A passenger in the car was turned over to Columbia police.
