A Columbia man pleads guilty in federal court to meth and illegal gun charges.
Anthony Malin, 39, made his plea on Tuesday.
An officer spotted Malin on Jan. 30, 2019, in a parking lot near Broadway and Stadium Blvd. in Columbia. Authorities followed Malin to a home and arrested him. He had meth in his pocket, and tried to flush a quarter-pound of the drug down a toilet.
Prosecutors are recommending an eight-year prison sentence for Malin.
