A Columbia man will serve 15 years in federal prison for attempting to entice a minor.
A judge sentenced Jeffrey Johnson, 52, on Tuesday. Johnson pleaded guilty in January.
Johnson admitted he responded to a post on a website from someone pretending to offer her 13-year-old daughter for sex. He was actually talking with an undercover Boone County Sheriff’s Dept. detective. Johnson was arrested in August 2019.
