A Columbia moped driver is seriously injured after a crash in Miller County.
The patrol says Jeremiah Adams was driving his moped west on Highway 54 near Route A-A late Saturday night. A pickup truck was coming up behind him, but didn’t see him because Adams’ moped didn’t have adequate rear lighting, according to troopers. The truck hit Adams’ moped, causing it to overturn and eject Adams.
Adams, 47, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The pickup driver was not hurt.
