The courts could revoke the parole of a Columbia man who is now charged with felony child molestation.
31-year-old Timothy Steven Maggard is on probation for domestic assault. The Columbia Police Department’s probable cause statement says someone in the house woke up on New Year’s Eve and allegedly found Maggard holding the victim down. Court documents also quote a message Maggard sent to someone as saying he was very drunk that night and has no recollection of the incident.
Maggard is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on the child molestation charge via video today at 1 pm.
