Columbia police arrest two 17-year-olds for an alleged armed robbery.
Officers took Polly Southwick and Devon Harmon into custody early Friday morning at a house in the 800 block of Rollins Road. Police say the robbery victim told them three people demanded his clothes and valuables. One of them pointed a handgun at the victim and later hit him with it before he ran away.
Officers investigated at the house, and saw the victim’s clothes, leading to the arrest of Southwick and Harmon on suspicion of first-degree robbery. The third suspect drove off while police were at the scene, and officers called off a short pursuit.
