Columbia police are investigating a couple late night crimes.
A man with a gun robbed a victim on Stadium Boulevard near Broadway at about 11:10 p.m. Thursday and drove off. The victim was not hurt.
At about 11:30 p.m., officers learned about an assault at the Break Time on East Broadway near Highway 63. Investigators say a man stole things from the convenience store. A woman tried to stop him, and he hit her with his car. She has minor injuries.
CPD has not reported any arrests yet. It is not clear if the two crimes are connected.
