Columbia Police are asking for your assistance in identifying a man who allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened people early Sunday morning near Harpo’s. CPD investigators say the incident happened at about 12:20 am on Sunday morning, during a disturbance.
Reporter Jazsmin Halliburton from our news partner KMIZ reports the suspect allegedly threatened people with the weapon during a fight on Tenth street.
Harpo’s security manager Toby Davidson emphasizes that the fight was not inside the bar. Mr. Davidson tells ABC-17 News that he was the one who called Columbia police. Mr. Davidson says he observed an altercation “between several individuals” as he was walking the perimeter and proceeded close down Harpo’s for the night.
The Columbia Police Department has posted the suspect’s photo. The suspect appears to be wearing a red jacket and dark pants. Anyone who recognizes the man is encouraged to call Columbia Crimestoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
