Columbia Public Works crews are encouraging you to limit travel during Wednesday’s winter storm.
Public Works spokesman John Ogan says 25 snow plow operators are currently working to clear roads. He says motorists can assist snow removal efforts by avoiding parking on priority roads. Public Works notes travel will be hazardous at times today. Mr. Ogan also encourages you to give snow plow operators plenty of space.
Go COMO, which is Columbia’s bus system, is operating on a normal schedule today. Residential curbside refuse and recycling collections are running as scheduled, according to Columbia city utilities. And Columbia Police are reminding you to not leave vehicles running unattended.
