You’ll have an opportunity this week to sign your name on the final beam of the new $23-million terminal being built at Columbia Regional Airport (COU).
A beam-signing and topping-off ceremony are set for Thursday afternoon at 1:30.
Columbia city manager John Glascock says the ceremony will allow you to be part of Columbia’s history. You’ll be able to sign your name Thursday on the beam, which will forever be part of the new COU terminal.
Columbia Mayor Brian Treece and Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin will speak at the ceremony.
